DONAULAND and CALL DIRECT, Austria: Distribution partnership established

The challenge:

  • DONAULAND, a subsidiary of the Bertelsmann Group, is Austria's leading book and media supplier. In addition to the core business, DONAULAND offers its members products and services of cooperation partners.
  • DONAULAND plans to build-up a financial service to sell insurance products to their customers.

The solution:

Capellmann Consulting was assigned to find the suitable insurance partner and to identify promising insurance products to sell to the DONAULAND target group.

Scope of work:

  • Market analysis and first meetings with potential partners: CALL DIRECT selected, the direct insurance unit of the UNIQA Group
  • Develop the cooperation agreement between the partners
  • Propose a test pattern for the first joint advertisement campaign
  • Implement the agreed advertisement campaign
  • Process planning and control
  • Organisational management

The result:

  • First tests successful
  • Long-term partnership established
